Central Indiana Dance Ensemble to Kick Off Season with 2nd Annual “A Night at the Barre” Gala Fundraiser
CARMEL, IN – SEPTEMBER 23, 2015 - The Central Indiana Dance Ensemble (CIDE), a pre-professional dance ensemble and resident company of The Center for the Performing Arts, will be kicking off its 2015-2016 season with “A Night at the Barre”, its annual fundraising event. “A Night at the Barre” will take place on November 7 from 6:30-10:30pm at the Indiana Design Center.
The evening will not only showcase the talent of the Central Indiana Dance Ensemble dancers but will also include special guest performances by the Indianapolis Children’s Choir, Carmel High School’s Camerata Symphony Orchestra, and Carmel High School jazz musicians. Enjoy fine food, cocktail stations, a silent auction, and other exciting guest activities throughout the evening.
“A Night at the Barre” is CIDE’s largest, most integral fundraiser of the year. Proceeds provide critical support for continued community outreach, special choreography opportunities, performance and costume expenses, and scholarships for its dancers.
Suzann DeLay, CIDE’s Artistic Director says, “We are very excited for our second annual “A Night at the Barre” and are especially looking forward to the opportunity for community members to experience an evening full of local youth talent.”
This event is open to the public. Pricing information and tickets are now available at www.cidedance.org or by calling 317-844-7453. Prices will increase on October 17.
